I just got an e-response back
from Sargento Cheese regarding their 2012 “Discover Wisconsin” calendar. It
should become available as of 12/1/11. Look for the order form on their Website
www.Sargento.com. There are usually some
product coupons in the back of that calendar. In the past I think the value has
only been around 25¢.
BEN- Hi Sue,
I did not
know this and I wanted to let you know. I found out on my Iphone there is a
free bookstore app from Apple. It allows you to purchase and download e-books
onto your phone. I found your book and downloaded it onto my phone. I think a
lot of people would be interested in knowing that they can take your wisdom and
knowledge whenever they go shopping.
LILLY
PETRONKA –Hi Sue
We went
to a yard sale that 50 homes were having in a "high end" community. I
found the following: A new pair of Sketchers g-tech shoes $70 for .50. A pair
of L.E.I. white sandals $70 for .50. A new pampered chef egg slicer .50, cafe
rod .50, .25 for an oversized decorative goblet, $1.50 for the Walter Conkrites
best 60 picks of radio programs on cassette valued at $70 for $1.50 and a $48
new Cuisinart sandwich maker for $1. 2 Brand new chair pads .50 for both. Love
those sales!
At Ollie's,
I found a clearance area at 50% off Betty Crocker loaded mashed potatoes. They
were .49-cents; 5-lb bag of whole wheat flour for .75. I Can't believe this deal!!!!!!!!!
On a separate trip, Ollie's clearance was offering 2-lb bags of gold
medal flour for 1/2 off so .49 each; However, with my Ollie's card, they
were .43; so, $4.33 for 22 lbs. WOW! 6 of the bags are all purpose and 5 are
self rising!
CVS had a 90% off sale and I found 10 packs of black jack gum
at .05-cents for each pack. I also had a coupon for $8 off two Cover Girl
products. I purchased 2 lipsticks for $7.99 each. I paid $7.99 for two, also
receiving beauty bucks. At Wal-Mart I purchased
Borden cheese $1.98; using a $1. coupon it was .98. I also used .55/2 Rotelle
diced tomatoes and Chiles. I purchased 4 using two coupons and paid $2.42 for 4
or .60-cents each. At Rite Aid I used 2 $2 coupons for John Frieda full
repair shampoo and conditioner. I received $5 in Rite Aid rewards for my next
purchase.

I happened to notice a link to a voluntary recall for a cat
food brand. The recall is because of less than adequate levels of Thiamine - B1
vitamin in some of their product. http://wellnesspetfood.com/letter.aspx
A friend alerted me to a recall by Stouffer's Lean Cuisine
tonight. It's their Spaghetti&meatballs entree.

Tropicana Juicy Rewards has updated their Rewards
program. The codes that have been inside the caps of participating products can
no longer be entered in your online account. The last date you could enter them
was 2/28/11. I didn't know that when I tried to enter them last night. There is
a new alphanumeric code on the outside of the participating products that you
now enter. I got an e-newsletter from the rewards club about the updated club.
The cap codes on 59 oz.&64 oz. cartons had been worth 15 points. each.
Now the alphanumeric codes are worth only 6 points. each! I think I will contact
them about not having been alerted that cap codes would no longer be accepted
after a certain date.
