Susan (Honickman) Samtur was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. She attended New York City Public School and received her B.S. and M.S. in Education from The City College of New York. She married Stephen in 1966 and was an elementary school teacher for eleven years. Susan and Steve have four sons, Stuart, Mark, Michael and Adam. |

While
bringing up four children on a budget, Susan began collecting
"scraps" of paper-coupons-to save money. Realizing their
importance in greatly reducing her weekly grocery bill,
she quickly became turned onto coupons. She and Steve
began their now famous magazine
Refundle Bundle, boasting over 2 million subscribers
since its inception in 1973. She sought to share her
exciting new findings with consumers in Refundle
Bundle a bi-monthly publication with information
on refund offers, freebies and the Select
Coupon Club. Before long she was appearing on television
shows across the country flaunting her savings of hundreds
of dollars at the supermarket.

But
it was Susan's three books, the best selling Cashing
in at the Checkout, Coupon Magic and The Super Coupon
Shopping System that brought her recognition as the
"Coupon Queen." Her national media tours included repeated
appearances on every major television show.
